"The stillness in this photo always makes me laugh because it was taken after a chaotic moment. I was laying on the beach in Punta Mita when suddenly, I saw a mother humpback and her baby gliding through the waves ahead of me. I still laugh thinking about the visual of me sprinting a mile down the beach wearing a bikini with my drone in hand to get the shot. After I had captured some video and stills of the whales I took this photo. It continues to remind me that we are simply coexisting visitors on this planet."
